I’ve just arrived in Germany where I will spend my Christmas holidays with my grandparents. Here I feel at home (despite my home is in South Italy). Here I can leave all my problems at home and can really mediate on my life.
The definition of street photography: from Wikipedia to what it really means to me.
When it comes to shoot street photography I’ve no excuses to not just go out and shoot it.
Street photography helped me to step outside from my comfort zone (my home), go out, take risks and build my confidence.
In street photography, and photography, in addition to use your brain, heart is the most important tool. To shoot too analytically isn’t enough to take a good and meaningful shot, it’s necessary to embody your soul and your heart in your shots.
I’m the one who doesn’t like to make a list on the new year’s resolutions, this is my first time. I decide to write this “to do list” to remember to myself that my photography needs an “upgrade”.
It’s always a good thing to return in your second country, Germany.
For me street photography doesn’t need necessary to be shoot, for me is a way to meditate, observe and understand the world. In particular observe the society, how it evolves through new trends, new technologies…
In photography and especially street photography it’s important to follow your personal view of the world. This is why I like street photography because it has helped me to have a voice, to share my personal view of the world.
