In photography and especially street photography it’s important to follow your personal view of the world. This is why I like street photography because it has helped me to have a voice, to share my personal view of the world.
When shooting street photography follow your own interior voice and don’t try to make photos to please others.
Why should we photograph something that don’t bring us joy? Why should we follow what others photograph?
I consider photography a therapy because you try to please yourself. You must photograph what you like and share your own vision to others and not share what others want to see from you.
Follow your own vision and stay true to yourself and don’t try to conform to others because they have a different vision that may not be true to yourself.
Social media, in according to me, is the main source of distraction because you get distracted by likes and comments and, instead of following your vision, you start to follow what gets more likes. Don’t let likes judge your photographs.
At the end it doesn’t matter if others like or not your photos, the most important thing is that you like them.
